About Us

Welcome to We Run They Run I Run. We are a running events organiser established in 2016 based in Sussex. We like to put on a variety of low key, challenging runs. We welcome runners of all abilities and award fantastic medals to all finishers.

Who are we?

We Run They Run I Run has been set up by four runners,  Zoe Gardham, Debbie Davis, Russell Gardham and Richard Davis. All of us are multiple marathon and ultra finishers. We are all members of Eastbourne Rovers Athletic Club, and are involved in organising and volunteering at club runs, cross country races and parkrun.

About our runs

Not your usual running events!

Challenge Style
We refer to most of our events as runs, not races. Everyone who takes part is on their own mission, for example, you don’t have to run for the whole 6 hours in our challenge style runs, you can stop when your mission is complete. Your time and mileage will be recorded. You will get a nice medal and free tea and coffee! Don’t expect a big race village, inflatable start/finish arch or chip timing. You are more likely to find us huddled in a gazebo, with clipboards, pens and paper, and a stopwatch! Events are low key with a maximum of 100 runners. The emphasis is on the running and camaraderie. We provide well stocked aid stations with cake, fruit, biscuits and other goodies at an undercover on indoor HQ. All abilities welcome, run, jog or walk.
Trail
Our trail runs, such as Decoy Dash are a little bit more racy than our challenge events, but still come with a generous 2 hour time limit for a 10k, allowing all abilities. The lower price point means we don’t provide our full aid station, but we still have great venues where you can buy home made cake, tea and coffee and reasonable prices.
Race
Eastbourne 5 and Eastbourne Trackstar are the raciest of all our events! You will even find chip timing at Trackstar! While these are races and will attract the fastest runners in the area, we still make everyone feel welcome, and offer generous time limits on both.
